I had a conversation with the Director of Delivery today and she informed me that my boss is no longer with the company and that she will be taking over our team with immediate effect.
This is no April Fool's joke.
I am still in shock.
I have no idea if I will still have a job.. and if I do, for how long.

Hard to say without knowing the circumstances of the dismissal but chances are good that your safe for the time being. The fact that you show up (so to speak) and do your job as always will help ease the transition for this new manager.
Long term who knows. The fact that it was so unexpected is cause for concern. Speculation most likely won't help. Just hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
My whole team is still in shock. It definitely has been an eventful day.
Hopefully your boss isn't a "she-he" who ran off with your commission checks....
