Brendan gets hitched
We drove up to Pilot Mountain (or Mount Pilot as Jason calls it) this afternoon and just got home a little while ago. Brendan and Alexis tied the knot today and the wedding was held at this really cozy colonial style manor overlooking scenic pastures and mountains. Even the rain did not damper the mood or the wedding. They moved us to the big tent and the food, hor douvres and the wedding cake was served in different halls inside the manor.

I've had this disagreement with a few folks over the years. "Mount Pilot" is to Pilot Mountain as "Mayberry" is to Mount Airy.
If you've ever been up there for the Mayberry Days festival you can see how the truth and TV can become intermingled.
Yeah, but I knew "Mount Pilot" years before I ever saw "Pilot Mountain". And it sounds so much better, too!
They oughta change the name. It'll be a hundred years before all the folks who saw Andy Griffith die out and start calling it by the actual name.
