A smokin' afternoon

My PC blew up. Not literally. But I could smell smoke. And the monitor went blank. So the first thing that came to my mind was that the monitor blew up.

I told Jason that went he came home and we went online to look and compare monitors before making a trip to BestBuy or Circuit City. He saw a 22 inch monitor that HE really liked and he wanted it for himself so he told me he'll give me his existing monitor so he could have the new one. I thought.. "hmmm, that doesn't seem fair. I'm always having to take over his old stuff"
But because I am such a kind-hearted wife and because I care too much for the geek in my husband, I agreed to it.
So we bought that 22-inch giant online and went over to Circuit City to pick it up.

Came home, I watered the dead lawn while Jason hooked the thing up. An hour later, he told me we need to go back to CircuitCity to return that giant. My head went "Yay!". Turns out that the old monitor is still working but the graphic card was burnt. My head went "Yay" again because a graphic card costs less than that giant monitor.

So now my PC is working again (Yay!) and I have a brand new graphic card (Yay!) and it's all mine!

If you have already read Jason's post, this is THE true account of the situation.
